          The hospital was established more than 20 years ago by an eminent professor Dr. Magdy Al-Akkad and like most of the hospitals established at that time, the hospital focused on secondary care specialties, while those patients seeking tertiary care travelling to Cairo.

       The hospital is currently in the transformation and renovation stage as many tertiary specialties are being introduced along with some expansion in the bed capacity from 60 beds to 100 beds.
